Autism Assessment Service – Now Accepting Referrals for 2026
In 2026, we are launching a comprehensive Autism Assessment service, conducted by our Child Psychologist and Paediatric Occupational Therapist.
This multidisciplinary assessment uses the gold-standard tools for autism diagnosis:
- ADOS-2 (Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule, Second Edition)
- ADI-R (Autism Diagnostic Interview – Revised)
Together, these tools provide a thorough understanding of the child’s developmental history, current behaviour, social communication, and functional needs. To find out more information on our Autism Assessment service.
We accept referrals for
- Children and adolescents (ages 2+)
- Individuals with suspected Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
- Clients needing a formal diagnosis for support (e.g. NDIS, school, therapy planning)
What the Assessment Includes
- Parent/Caregiver Interview (ADI-R)
- Child Observation & Interaction Assessment (ADOS-2)
- Paediatric OT Assessment: sensory processing, play, motor skills, daily functioning
- Feedback session with the family
- Comprehensive written report suitable for schools, NDIS, and other services
