About Robert Martinez

I love cooking, charging my social battery and have a passion for rural and remote
health.

Coming from country routes, I grew up in Lightning Ridge, then moved to Orange for University and loved it so much I stayed working as a graduate for Cerebral Palsy Alliance Orange for 3+ years. Continuing to have a passion for rural and remote health, I established our sister company Outback Therapy in Lightning Ridge. Having grown up in Lightning and experiencing firsthand the barriers to healthcare and access, I felt compelled to enhance rural community health outcomes through improved access and quality allied health services.

With my partner purchasing a pharmacy in the Port Stephens region, I relocated to live and work in the Hunter region and established Raymond Terrace Therapy. My passion for rural and remote health is unwavering and due to this RTT supports an outreach model of service.

“A Jack of all, perhaps a master of none”: I’m unofficially known as the “rural generalist” having 10 years clinical experience supporting rural and remote physiotherapy practice which has widened my scope of practice and ability to provide physiotherapy to all who walk through our doors.

Hands on approach: I really do love the hands on approach when it comes to physiotherapy practice.

Empowering people to be as independent as they can be by providing a traditional hands on approach to physio!

I really enjoy pushing myself to the limits! Even participating in a triathlon without training!
