About the business

Raymond Terrace Therapy provides a multidisciplinary team approach. With our clinic located inside Capital Chemist Raymond Terrace (30 minutes north of Newcastle), we offer clinic, home and community consultation. In addition to these services, we provide services to a range of host facilities under our outreach model of service (Outback Therapy), including remote Aboriginal community-controlled health services, rural and remote communities.

We provide therapy to all ages and abilities. Our therapies include; Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy and Speech Pathology. Our business is a registered NDIS provider for early intervention supports and therapy supports.

The Role

We are looking for a friendly and passionate Full-Time Team Administrator to assist in the running of our business and client journey.

You will be joining a fun, energetic team with a reputation for providing high-quality services. Business hours are Monday – Friday (No weekend work).

About you

  • Demonstrated patient-focused approach in a customer service position
  • Experience as a Receptionist/Administrator in a Medical or Allied Health position – Desirable
  • Demonstrated ability to work well within a team and autonomously
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent at taking initiative
  • Strong IT and data entry skills
  • Experience with the NDIS (National Disability Insurance Scheme) and interpreting of NDIS plans is highly desirable, however not essential
  • Experience with Cliniko is highly desirable, however not essential
  • Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
  • A current drivers license

Responsibilities

  • Enhance the business image by providing a positive experience to patients and practitioners
  • Support practitioners to allow for a streamlined patient journey through the practice
  • Manage with a professional manner telephone and face to face enquiries regarding our services from both current and prospective patients and other service providers
  • Liaise with patients with understanding and compassion
  • Ensure the appointment book, patient data and correspondence is managed with accuracy and attention to detail
  • Maintain and update patient information with a high level of data integrity
  • Process invoicing, receipting and bulk bill claiming
  • General reception duties including banking, shopping, stock ordering and housekeeping
  • Open and close procedures
